A great effort on all 3 rinks. Les Snelgrove’s rink lost by 2 shots winning 11 ends, Chris Tubey’s rink winning 9 ends losing by 6 shots and Martin Clark’s rink winning 10 ends and winning by 5 shots.

Unfortunately due to the weather (big downpour) and rink one being a bit flooded at the club end both captains agreed not to play the match a new fixture will be agreed between both clubs.
Finding G B Brittons club is always an interesting prospect! and on this ocassion their green played interestingly! Our first home match of the season was a “historic” occasion in that Chippenham Town played in black bottoms for the first time.
