Our annual Lavender & Lace Ladies’ Bowls Day was another great success, bringing together ladies from across the county for a day of friendly competition, laughter and plenty of catching up with old friends. Although we had a few showers during the day, the weather certainly didn’t dampen everyone’s spirits, and the bowls continued with plenty of smiles on and off the green.
The day is always a wonderful opportunity to meet up with fellow bowlers from other clubs around the county, renew friendships and make new ones. With a lovely atmosphere, some good bowls and plenty of conversation over lunch and a cuppa, everyone went home having thoroughly enjoyed another fantastic Lavender & Lace day.
