As a club we undertake to offer the best quality and structured coaching we possibly can. We see coaching as a very important element of our club and our sport. By offering the best coaching, we're more likely to retain and increase our membership as well as improve the playing standards and enjoyment within our club.
We're committed to continue improving our coaching services each year beyond our already very high standards. We already have another member undertaking the relevant courses required to gain the Level 1 qualification. This will add to our Level 2 qualified coach, Andy Bradfield.
Our coaching services for this coming season build upon our existing services and we are proud to announce that we now offer all members the chance for regular support and coaching throughout the season. We will be providing coaching aids and guides that assist both coach and player to tailor make each session for the utmost suitability.
We run a weekend morning session on a group basis enabling members to seek advice and support during a controlled session. These are run in conjunction and alongside our 4 week Bowls Development Alliance's "Bowls 4 Fun" programme which follows our "Open Day" each year.
We also run a more personal and tailored clinic on a Friday evening. This allows members the chance to seek advice and assistance on any specific area they feel they'd like to work on and improve. This will offer members drills and exercises to help develop and perfect their game.
By offering proactive and reactive coaching we are able to provide the best possible support to all of our bowlers.
