1880’s – Chippenham Sports Club Formed
1912 – Chippenham Town Bowls Club founded with a 4 Rink Green
1930’s – Additional 2 Rinks added
1960’s – Ladies Section founded
2004 – New Championship standard Green Opened
2004 – New Pavilion Opened
2012 – New floodlights added allowing games to continue well into the night!

Wiltshire County Four Rink League Champions 13 times the latest in 2018. Runners-Up 5 times
Wiltshire County Three Rink League Champions 2018
Mid Wiltshire Triples League Champions 23 times, Runners-up 8 times
1986 – Wiltshire won the National County ‘Middleton Cup’ with 4 Chippenham Town BC players
The Wiltshire Middleton Cup team continues to call on Chippenham Town Members for players
2012 – Wiltshire were Runners up to Norfolk in the Middleton Cup with Paul Macdonald and Dave Godwin from Chippenham Town playing in all rounds
2012 – Billy McCay - Wiltshire County Singles Champion
